Describing Delta Sigma Pi in only a few words is no easy task, as it is difficult to do justice when describing one of the most distinguished and well respected business organizations in the world.
Delta Sigma Pi was established in 1907 by four men who sought to establish America’s most prominent professional business fraternity for individuals seeking to further themselves academically, professionally and socially. These fore founders understood that a steadfast commitment to professionalism, service and brotherhood would help pave the way for those who sought membership in Delta Sigma Pi to evolve from mere School of Business students into the leaders and innovators of tomorrow’s business world.
Over one hundred years later, Delta Sigma Pi continues to carry out the mission and visions of its founders and today is comprised of a vast network of over 250,000 brothers with chapters in over 200 universities and colleges around the country, and over 50 alumni chapters across the US. Our vast and distinguished network of alumni have made significant contributions to business, government, education, and entertainment as ambassadors, founders and CEOs.
Since its establishment in 1971 at Siena College, the Theta Upsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi has striven to fulfill the legacy as set forth by our founders. Our goal is to better prepare today’s School of Business students for the opportunities and challenges that they will face long after graduation through professional development, community service and personal growth. Delta Sigma Pi isn’t just for four year, it’s for life.
On behalf of the entire Theta Upsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, I invite you to join us on our journey to success. I welcome you to explore our website and seek out our brothers to learn more about the spirit of leadership and excellence that is infused in the Theta Upsilon Chapter and the whole brotherhood of Delta Sigma Pi.
Sincerely,
John Tomesco, President
